My family and I are divers HUGE! Furthermore, it is unbearably hot only go to Sydney in January? What is the best hotel in Sydney and Cairns? Help!

Very hot and humid in Cairns in January, but since I live here, I'm used to.

(never stopped me, however) about two years from Slough, just to give you an idea. Not bad, considering the thousands to enjoy the reef each year.

Cairns is the best time to visit in June onwards.The best time I had in Cairns in September because the weather was beautiful and the water was good and warm.By September view of the diving is even better in general. The best diving on the outer reef.
Unfortunately, January is not the time, Cairns is the rainy season and the Box Jelly Fish season.This means that diving conditions would be very bad, and probably not able to dive at all.
The weather in Sydney, Cairns is better than in January. In Cairns, the rainy season and hurricane season before the rainy season is very wet. You have to pay prices to vacation in Sydney in January
